Step into the world of plant medicine with this foundational class designed for those curious about the healing power of herbs. We’ll begin by exploring the rich history of herbalism—how plants have been used across cultures and centuries for healing, nourishment, and spiritual connection. You’ll learn the basics of herbal energetics—understanding how herbs interact with the body through properties like warming, cooling, drying, and moistening. We'll also cover respectful wildcrafting practices, how to ethically and sustainably harvest herbs, and the best ways to store and care for your plant allies to preserve their potency. This class is perfect for beginners who want to deepen their connection to nature and begin their journey into herbal healing with knowledge, care, and reverence.
Cancellation Policy
Participants must be 14 years of age or older. Participants may cancel up to 1 week before class starts and get a full refund. Participants may cancel up to 72 hours before class starts, but will forfeit 25% of total cost of class. Classes have a minimum of 4 persons & maximum of 12 persons. Classes close 48 hours before class starts. No late sign-ups. Classes are all in person. Classes missed will NOT be made up and participant will forfeit class fee. Payment includes all materials and students will take home 8-10 remedies for themselves.
