Organic would imply the herb was farmed using organic farming practices such as using organic compost for weed control and nutrients, natural pest deterrents such as nematodes or praying mantis, and using organic sprays or netting to protect the plants.

Wildcrafting would apply to herbs found in the wild or grown naturally. Examples of this would be mushrooms like chaga or reishi- growing on fallen logs in a forest, bark from a tree such as pau d'arco from Peru, or chaparral leaves from bushes in the desert.
